Items in my April 2017 Glam Bag:
April Glam Bag – Okay, so I will admit I am not a fan of this month’s bag design. It reminds me of the Carnival or the Fair I used to attend as a child, but I feal like IF this bag should have been released, it should have been released during September or October. I was hoping for a more colorful bag this month. But oh well, on to the items inside the bag!
H2O+ Beauty Elements Keep it Fresh Cleanser – Okay, so I was surprised about this cleanser. I was super excited to get it because I love trying cleansers, serums, and moisturizers. However, I was only disappointed because of the strong fragrance it had. Now, this cleanser is clear and very slippery to touch. When applied to the skin, I did notice it went on smoothly and did its job by clearing away the dirt, but I was not a fan of the scent. I do plan on using the rest of the rest of the sample to see if the scent grows on me.
Elizabeth Mott: Show Me Your Glow Shimmer Shadow & Highlighter – You guys, this was such a pretty color and I was beyond excited to receive this in this month’s bag! I used it as a highlighter and I absolutely loved how smooth it went on. It stayed on throughout the day, with the help of my primer and finishing spray.
Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Angle Blush Brush – OMG! By far, this is the prettiest brush that I have in my collection! Not to mention, it is also angled and perfect when applying my highlighter. The brush is super soft and thick. Glamour Dolls and Lisa Frank did an awesome job and this was one of my favorites out of this month’s bag!
Adesse New York: Cupuacu Butter Lip Balm – Between this lip balm and my angle brush, I can’t seem to decide which one I like the best. The packaging on the lip balm is super cute and as soon as I opened the balm, I was reminded of bubblegum! Lol This went on so smoothly and it is very moisturizing to my lips. I literally can’t stop “tooting” my lips up to smell the product!
ColourPop Cosmetics: Crème Gel Pencil in Swerve – So, I guess I see what all the fuss is about when it comes to ColourPop. This eyeliner is the bomb.com! It went on so smoothly to the point where I had to double check to see if the product was actually applying to my waterline. I honestly thought this would be one of those products that was hyped up, but I was wrong!
Overall Thoughts – I think we had A good bag this month! There was only one item that I wasn’t feeling too much because of the scent, but everything else exceeded my expectations! This bag gets a solid B this month. Great job on picking the products IPSY!
Let me know what you got in your IPSY glam bag this month in the comments!
