Items in my March 2017 Glam Bag:

Glam Bag –  *clears throat* Can we talk about how cute this month’s bag is though?! I love pink and the fact that it is a rose pink! Yes ma’am!  It is definitely a step up from last month’s bag.

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Mini – There has been quite a bit of hype over this product lately, so when I noticed I was getting it in my bag this month I was excited to try it out without paying $79 (yikes) for the full-size product. The texture was grainy (as majority exfoliators are) but not too harsh and it smelled like mint mixed with lemon. Lol, weird I know. But, this is a good product that made my skin feel super soft after I rinsed it off. I will continue to use the rest of the product. I more than likely will not purchase the full-product because it is too expensive and because the exfoliator I use now gives me the same results (although cheaper).

theBalm Cosmetics Bahama Mama – Okay, so I’ll be honest with you…I personally do not use bronzer, because I have hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and my cheeks already look naturally contoured honey! However, I did try this after I put my foundation on and it did seem to go on quite smooth and I was able to blend it easily. Would I personally purchase this? Nope. Again, not because the product was bad, but because I typically don’t wear bronzer.

OUAI Treatment Masque – I have natural, thick, black hair. So, this product did make my hair soft after I rinsed it out and I had some slip as I slid my fingers throughout my hair. However, it has way too much of a perfume smell. I could even smell it without taking off the protective seal yet. It was a nice product to try that one time, but I won’t be using it again.

mPrincess Pressed Eyeshadow in Chestnut – This color was BOMB. It has some shimmer in it and goes perfectly with my skin tone as I applied it on my eyelid. The color seemed to stay all day for me because I used a primer and finishing spray.

Vasanti Cosmetics Professional Contour Eyeshadow Brush – This was a nice brush. It was soft, but not too soft. I don’t think I will use it as an eyeshadow brush, because it seems like I had to use more eyeshadow with it. However, when I used it with my transition color and blended it in, it was PERFECT.

Overall Thoughts – I think we had a great bag this month and will continue to use all the products except for the hair mask. I give this bag a solid “A” this month. The fact that our glam bag was just too cute definitely contributes to that grade!
